Founded in 1636, Harvard University is in both Cambridge Massachusetts and Europe. Harvard is for star students and is one of the best colleges in the U.S. Presidents John Adams, John Quincy Adams, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and John F. Kennedy were all graduates from Harvard. Even President Rutherford B. Hays enrolled in Harvard Law School. Harvard is for very smart people.

Harvard was established by the colonial Massachusetts legislature. It is the oldest corporation in the U.S. Charles William Eliot, the 21st president of Harvard, altered Harvard, an average college, into a institutional university. It was founded to “advance Learning and perpetuate it to Posterity; dreading to leave an illiterate Ministry to the Churches…” Harvard's early motto was VERITAS Christos et Ecclesiae: "Truth for Christ and the Church." In a directive to its students, it laid out the purpose of all education: "Let every Student be plainly instructed, and earnestly pressed to consider well, the main end of his life and studies is, to know God and Jesus Christ which is eternal life, John 17. 3. and therefore to lay Christ in the bottom, as the only foundation of all sound knowledge and Learning.” Founded by the Massachusetts Bay Colony Harvard was at one time a Christian University used to train ministers.

It would be hard for me to enroll in Harvard. If students in Harvard have parents who are alumni with an income of less than $60,000, they can get in for free and won’t have to pay expenses each year. Students’ parents who have an income of $60,000 to $80,000 have to pay a few thousand dollars a year. Those who have $120,000 to $180,000 income have to pay only ten percent of their income. It would be difficult for me to enroll and I probably could not, due to the educational fees, required subject matter, and grade point average.
